The Pathways series of events celebrates the richness of diverse traditions and artistic expression, creating new connections between peoples through the universal language of the arts. This event is the second in a four-part series, each centred on a different cultural garden. 

Pathways - Fall: Kurimoto Japanese Garden
Launch event: September 25, 2025, 5 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Featuring:

  • Tracing Belonging - Japanese Canadian Community
    A photography exhibit by artist Nozomi Kamei
  • Taiko Drummers
  • Japanese Tea Ceremonies
  • Japanese Food
  • Ikebana and bonsai displays
  • and more…

Most activities are included with purchase of general admission to the Garden; extra charges apply for food and tea ceremony tickets. 

NOTE TO GARDEN MEMBERS - to access your free admission, please sign in before clicking the "Book Now" button.

  • This event will run rain or shine. In the event of rain, activities will be moved indoors to the Diwan Pavilion. There are no refunds if it rains. However, if there is a severe weather warning issued by Environment Canada, the Garden may cancel the event and refunds will be issued.
